Meet the DeLois Smith All-Star Team of Real Estate Assistants for the Hattiesburg area. 

The name DeLois Smith is synonymous with excellence in the Hattiesburg residential real estate market. For more than three decades, DeLois has been Hattiesburg's top producing REALTOR®. Last year alone, DeLois and her team produced more than $63 million in closed transactions. As a Certified Residential Specialist®, DeLois focuses on families who are relocated to the Hattiesburg area...something she and her family did in 1972. As a REALTOR® Broker Associate, DeLois has nutured her team of professionals to meet the needs of those buying and selling homes, for a total of 310 transactions in 2006. DeLois has been inducted into the Better Homes & Gardens Hall of Fame, has been named one of Mississippi's 50 Leading Business Women, and has been selected Hattiesburg's Best REALTOR® by public vote. She is a member of Temple Baptist Church, while her husband, Lavon, is a longtime member of Westminister Presbyterian Church. Together, they dedicate a substantial amount of time supporting the ministry of Kindness International, which is teaching Christian morals and ethics through the public school systems in Russian and the Ukraine. 

Adam P. Watkins specializes in residential real estate sales, development, and investing as Broker Associate and Listing Partner for The DeLois Smith All Star Team, Keller Williams®, based in Hattiesburg. A Pine Belt native, he received his degree in Finance and Communication from William Carey College where he was recognized as the School Of Business' Top Male Business Student his senior year. Additionally, he has achieved other professional designations in the real estate field. He is an active member of the Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS®; where he currently serves as President on the Association's Board of Directors, making him one of the youngest members ever to hold such a seat. Adam also serves as vice-chair of the Member Services and Technology committee with the state association, and is a member of the Multiple Listing System & Issues Committee at the national level. Adam was profiled as one of Realtor Magazine’s “30 Under 30” in June 2008. Other community involvement includes membership in the Area Development Partnership, Petal Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Alumni Council of William Carey College, where he just finished a term as President of the council. He and his wife, Amelia, make their home in Petal, Mississippi. They are active members of Carterville Baptist Church where they're both involved with music ministry and Adam serves in the deacon ministry. 

Brenda Blackwell, REALTOR® Buyer Specialist, considers paying attention to our buyers’ needs her main goal. She knows what properties are available is ready to aid new or experienced home-buyers make purchasing decisions concerning their “largest investment.” Whether relocating, moving-up, or moving-down, Brenda is available. Brenda holds a B.S. and Masters Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. After 27 years teaching experience, she began her real estate career in 2000. Brenda has participated in numerous conventions, seminars, certified residential specialist courses, and advanced buyer, seller training by Star Power University. She is wife to Michael, and mother to daughters, Breanne and Lindsey. She attends Temple Baptist Church in Hattiesburg and enjoys traveling, decorating, and investing time in her family. 

Linda Seifert, REALTOR® Broker Associate, has been involved in the real estate industry for 28 years. She has managed commercial and residential properties, worked as a mortgage lender and now serves The DeLois Smith All Star Team, REALTORS® as a REALTOR® Buyer Specialist. She is knowledgeable in the area market and draws on her experience in the industry to assist buyers in making their sales transactions close as smoothly as possible. Linda holds and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative) designation and has attended Team and advanced Buyer Specialist Training through Star Power University She enjoys her free time gardening, decorating and being involved in her close knit family. She attends Calvary Baptist Church where she actively participates in the choir. 

Scott Holmes, REALTOR® Buyer Specialist , is always eager to connect buyers with the home that best suits their needs. Scott is closely tied to his long time community of Petal. He is an expert on this fast-growing area. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University in Industrial Technology and is married to wife Lisa and has three children– Robyn, Brett, and Logan. He especially enjoys his children’s accomplishments. His two oldest were voted most likely to succeed in senior years of high school. He is an active member of Petal-Harvey Baptist Church.  

Sharon Rome, REALTOR® Buyer Specialist, knows the ins and outs of purchasing a home. As the Team's former Closing Coordinator, Sharon understands the process of purchasing a home. Sharon has recently transitioned from the Closing Coordinator to being a full-time REALTOR® Buyer Specialist. She knows how to make your home sale or purchase run as smooth as possible. Sharon holds experience in the banking industry, as well as customer service, and was a teacher at Sacred Heart Catholic School for four years. She is wife to Michael, Sr., and mother to Michael, Jr., Edward, Christopher, Helena, Sybil, and Margaret. Sharon attends St. Thomas Catholic Church. 

Sarah Smith, Client Care Coordinator, greets clients with a warm smile and a friendly voice. As our Client Care Coordinator, Sarah works to contribute to the outstanding level of service the team already offers our clients. She previously worked in the mortgage customer service for 2 years. Sarah is married to husband, Jeremy. She graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.F.A. in Theatre and works hard to ensure all of our clients are well taken care of. 

Laci Lee, Closing Coordinator, is here to help you with every detail of your sale or purchase. As our Closing Coordinator, Laci is the person to go to for questions or help, whether buying or selling. She
orchestrates contracts, necessary inspections, and preparations for easy closings. Laci was previously a Realtor for 2.5 years and was a multi-million dollar producer. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Pearl River Community College. Laci is married to Justin and they have one infant son, Jaxon. They are members of Woodlawn Church in Columbia. 

Dana Grubb, Team Listing Coordinator, is a specialist who is available in the office to provide information to sellers during the marketing period. Dana assists DeLois and Adam with the best possible strategy to sell your home quickly and profitably. She facilitates listing research, legal documents, and coordinates with the marketing department. Dana received a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is married to husband, Kevin, with two children, Morgan and Reagan. 

Jennifer Upton, Marketing Director, makes sure the public knows YOUR property is on the market. From photos to print media, Jennifer strives to ensure maximum and accurate exposure of your property. She understands how important it is to provide the public with the most up-to-date information about properties, as well as The DeLois Smith All Star Team, REALTORS®. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi. When she isn't helping home sellers, Jennifer spends time with her 3-year-old daughter, Kaylee. 

Amelia Watkins, Administrative Assistant, helps behind the scenes with maintaining balance in the workplace. As Administrative Assistant, Amelia handles the team accounting along with Adams closings and other clerical duties. Amelia graduated from The University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S.B.A. in Banking and Finance. She has worked in the mortgage banking industry since 1997 and earned her real estate salesperson license in 2006. Amelia works alongside her husband, Adam, to contribute to the outstanding level of service the team already offers our clients. She is an active member of Petal’s LeBonte Literary Club as well as Carterville Baptist Church.
